Psychometric Profiling
There are a number of profiling tools that can be used to assist individuals to reflect upon their development and growth. Some of the key tools we use are Psychometric tools which are thoroughly researched, developed and credible instruments that are specifically aimed at measuring various aspects of people development. Psychometric instruments measure an individual’s mental processes and behaviour, style and motivation.
Tests of typical performance are normally called questionnaires or indicators and do not have right/wrong answers.
They are designed to assess a person’s typical style, behaviour and preferences and require self assessment. Examples include measures of personality, motivation and interests.
Psychometric Profiling tools can be used to assist one to one and team coaching by providing information to support:
Increased self awareness and understanding
- Identification of development needs
- Building better relationships
- Providing information on career development
Following an initial examination of an individual’s development or team’s needs the appropriate tool will be offered as part of the developmental process. A brief outline of some of the key tools that we use is listed below:
- Myers Briggs Step I, 11 and Teams
- Firo B
- Apter Motivational Styles Profile
- Hay 360 Emotional Inventory
- Facet 5
